Happy Monday! I've released the latest episode in my series. Check it out here!
I hope you like it, and be sure to leave me a comment. I'm now diving straight into my Christmas movie. Mark who plays Staghorn came by last week and recorded his lines, and I'll be recording mine today, so stay tuned! I should have it done before Christmas.
Speaking of Christmas, sales in my shop have been going up, I assume in preparation for Christmas. No complaints here! I released some Christmas ornaments last week which should look pretty on your tree. I know I'll be getting some for my tree, heh. If you have any requests for shop items, let me know. I can now offer customizable but ridiculously expensive mini-camcorders to whomever is interested :P
I'll be out of town for Thanksgiving, but its my goal to get my music up on iTunes during that time. I've been getting your messages and emails--I'm working on it :)
Well, back to work for me. Enjoy the latest episode and I hope to see you on the forums!

Happy Monday all! I released the fourth episode in our Dynamic Action Team series last week. Check it out here!
My goal with this series is to make it enjoyable, even for those who haven't played the games. Let me know if I'm on the right track!
It's almost Christmas! Wait... it's almost Thanksgiving. That's right. You know, there is just something a little odd about going to a store and seeing all the Christmas decorations and hearing the Christmas music when it isn't even Thanksgiving yet. But, they obviously know something I don't, so I've got some Christmas ornaments up in my shop.
If you have any suggestions on what kind of items you would like to see in my store, or any new designs, let me know. Right now I have all the usual fare—shirts, mugs, mouse pads—and some other cool stuff, like teddy bears, throw pillows and beer steins. Cafepress FTW.
I removed my Pownce button to the left and have stopped using Pownce, mainly because I know no one who uses it, and because it just seems rather redundant when I have Twitter. The only other one I'm still on the fence about is Delicious, because I'm not sure how useful it is. Oh well, for now I'll keep using it.
I'm working on Episode 5 of Dynamic Action Team, and I also finished a script for a new Christmas Special! My friend Mark Pfaff, who plays Staghorn in my Inventing Swear Words movies, is in town for a few days, and he'll be doing some voice acting for the Christmas Special. So, if I get Episode 5 done in time, you should see a Christmas Special this year. Wee!
That's it for this week! As always, you can keep tabs on my day-to-day movie progress via my Twitter page, chat with me on the forums and browse all my movies on WeGame. Here is last week's video review:

Doh! Looks like I missed a week. Oh well, I'll just make this week extra special.
The Machinima Filmfest 2008 approached me a few weeks ago and asked me to produce a short sketch poking fun at either the election or the economy that they could play during their awards ceremony last weekend. Now that the festival is over, I've released it:
I've been hard at work on D.A.T. Episode 4. I've been releasing "sneak peek" photos of the movie in production, which you can see on my Flickr page. Be sure to subscribe to my Twitter page to receive updates when I release new sneak peeks.
I've added a few more networking sites to the list. If you are on them, you can now follow me on:
Gratz to all winners of the Machinima Filmfest 2008! Our good Stephen M. won TWO Mackey's for his movie World of Workcraft! You'll remember that he produced it while interning for us at WeGame, and we're really excited to see his talent recognized.
Yes, the election is tomorrow, but something much more exciting for WeGame will happen tomorrow. I'll be sure to keep you all abreast on my blog, but be sure to check out WeGame bright and early tomorrow morning!
Myndflame recently released a Halloween special. I got to play the part of the Father, and there are many other guest stars in this fun movie. Check it out here:

I finished episode three of my new series! Check out the latest episode, "Fitting In", here:
If you like it, please "Digg It" for me by following this link and clicking "digg it":
I'm trying my best to catch up on all this "web 2.0" stuff. I've added a widget to the left that links to my Friend Feed account, so if you are on Friend Feed, feel free to subscribe. The widget doesn't really fit in with the style of the site, sadly, but that's what happens when you ask a history major to edit code, heh.
I also finally registered a Flickr account, so, once I get my camera (lol) you should soon see lots of pictures of whatever I find interesting. If that is, at all, interesting.
I haven't had a chance to write a new blog post because of the latest episode, but I'll be having more time coming up to write, so I'll be sure to keep it up to date.
WeGame has some great plans in store for machinima authors of which I can't go into detail, but be sure to check up on the site in the following weeks to see all the new goodies we have in store for you.

Whew, what a week! Blizzcon was a blast—many thanks to Blizzard for
inviting us. I'll write up my thoughts on the event and post it on my
blog soon.
We did a sort of "man-on-the-street" coverage of the event, so if you
missed Blizzcon and didn't watch it on Direct TV, hopefully our videos
can sate your appetite:
Because of Blizzcon, I missed a few crucial days of editing on the
next episode of Dynamic Action Team, so I'll have to get it to you
next week.
I bumped into many fans and friends while there—it was great! I
discovered, however, that many people didn't know that I had been
continuing to make movies all this year. I've listed my most recent
movies to the left for those who haven't been keeping up with my work
at WeGame. Also, it would probably be smart of me to update the Movies
page too, eh? I'll have to get to that today. Or tomorrow.
I tried hiring a web developer to help me make a new version of the
site, but apparently Craig's List is filled with under-talented and
out-of-work web designers from Taiwan who say they can do whatever you
ask but lack any actual skill, so alas, I haven't been able to make
any cool changes yet. I'm still looking for a web developer though, so keep your fingers crossed! We may have a sweet new website here in a
few... eons.
I've also been told that having a number of different domain names
parked at a primary domain name messes with Google results and I
somehow get penalized, or something, so I've changed both
oxhornbrandmovies.com and oxhornbrand.com to redirect to
brandonmdennis.com.
Here are this week's blog posts:

Good morning! Are ye internet peoples doing well in every way, shape and form? Huzzah! And Hurrah.
I'll be at Blizzcon this year, so I hope to see you there. Blizzard was kind enough to invite Jared, Jeff and myself to partake in the festivities. I'll be walking around in my suspenders and bowler, giving away free Oxhorn Brand buttons--the best ones from my store. So if you see me, stop me and get a free button!
No new episode of Dynamic Action Team this week. The script I wrote was pretty long so I think it will take me about two weeks to finish. You should see it next Monday. But it is a funny one!
We have two new pieces of fan art this week, both from NiennaTelrunya and both featuring everyone's favorite singing turtle, Hat:
I have a new blog post this week:

Good Monday! We have a multiple-course update this week complete with
red wine and desert. It may not be filet mignon, but it is at least a hefty rib-eye steak smothered in A1 sauce. And cheese.
I've released episode two of my new series, Dynamic Action Team!
If you missed it last week, you can watch episode 1 here:
Head on over to the forums and let me know what you think. I've also
reached a few landmarks this week, breaking the 1 million views mark
on WeGame:
- Over 1 million views on WeGame
- Over 16 million on YouTube
- Over 27,000 subscribers on YouTube
Things keep growing, which is great! Guess I didn't make enough people
mad with IPU.
Speaking of which, I just published a new blog article which responds
to viewers' responses to my own response to IPU.
We have some fan art this week from Zealsha, who drew a picture of what Dead-cowbies possibly look like... as adults. Thanks Zealsha!

Splendid Monday every-peoples! I hope things are going swimmingly in and with your every which-way and fancy.
Our good Rothicol has uploaded a recording of himself singing my song “The Great Kodo”. Check it out here, and give him props!
I've started a new series using Team Fortress 2 called “Dynamic Action Team”. I just released Episode 01 today. My goal is to release a new episode every week. I will still be making WoW machinima, but less often. I hope to make a Christmas special this year, like I've done for the past three years. You can watch episode 01 of my new series here:
Many thanks to everyone who keeps submitting burns, participating in our weekly contests,a nd who showed up for the TF2 match last Saturday. You can send burns to me at brandon AT wegame DOT com, submit entries to our contests at weeklyreview AT wegame DOT com, and be sure to watch the video reviews announcements.

Happy Tuesday! Looks like I am a day late for an update. I'll punish
myself by playing the space stage of Spore tonight.
Kidding.
One of my characters has been placed as an NPC in World of Warcraft!
Thanks to everyone who has sent me screenshots telling me about it.
Mortuus, my undead guy from my Inventing Swear Words series, appears
as a quest giving NPC with a pail in his hand and a miners cap on in
Blizzard's latest expansion. Check out the picture here:
I'm humbled that Blizzard made a reference in their game to my movies.
I've got to say that, from machinima booths at Blizzcon to Wrath of
the Lich King Beta invites to this, the Blizzard people have shown
themselves to be really, really cool to me, so thanks Blizzard. They
also made a reference to our good Olibith by placing one of his
characters in the expansion as well, which you can read about on
Olibith's blog:
Response to my latest movie has been great! Thanks all for posting
comments about my movie and sharing it with your friends. I'm working
on another project right now. It isn't WoW related, but it should
still be funny. I'll post it here when I get it done.
Fans have been sending me all sorts of pictures, and it is about time
I shared a few:
Thanks a bunch! If you have any fan art or burns for Jeff, you can
send them to me at brandon AT WeGame DOT com.
Despite the way I opened this post, I am actually really enjoying the
space stage of Spore. Here are some cool Spore videos on the site:
Lastly, many people have asked for the new WeGame slide I used at the
end of my latest movie. Here it is, for any who want it:

HONORABLE MENTIONS
It was very hard for me to pick from amongst all the great submissions. Here is a list of other movies submitted to the contest that were funny, interesting, or otherwise stood out in some way:

My new movie is done apart from the music. Nathan is working really hard on making a cool score for the movie. I'll probably release it next week, which will give me the time to fine-tune the thing.
The machinima contest is over, and we have 120 submissions! I have been watching them and judging them all day. This will take me a long time, but I'll have it done in time for the video review next week, when we will announce the winners. In the mean time, head on over and watch the entries, and let us know which ones you like best!

Happy Monday! Here are some more teaser screenshots from my upcoming movie, Mighty Morphin' Midget Gnomes UNITE!:
We have over 60 submissions to our machinima contest! Judging will sure take a long time, but I can't wait. There is still plenty of time though, so if you would like to submit something, you have until the end of the month.
Jeff and I have been trying to update the WeGame blog regularly, which you can check out here:

This just in! Our good Nathan Allen Pinard has released a digital download collection on Amazon consisting of 80 minutes of machinima movie scores, including scores from a number of my movies, which you can get for just under $8. Check it out here at Amazon.com:
I'm hoping to gather together all my little songs from my movies and do something similar here in the next few weeks. So stay tuned! There may be an Oxhorn Brand CD coming out sometime.
Maybe.
08.18.08
I have some teaser screenshots for you! I can't share them without revealing the name of my movie, so I'll just announce now that I'm making a new movie called "Mighty Morphin' Midget Gnomes UNITE!". I have scene 02 done and 03 half done, which leaves scenes 04, 05, 01 and the credits. I won't have it done in time for next week, but maybe, just maybe, the week after. But don't hold me to it:
Our good Lagspike has released a new short movie. It is a Team Fortress 2 spoof of a scene from the latest Batman movie. Check it out here:
If you like it, you can "digg it" for him here:
Our machinima contest is going great! We already have over 40 submissions, which means that every single prize will have a winner. We've recieved many quality submissions, but the winners are far from established. With 13 days left to go in the contest, the prizes are still up for grabs! So, if you have the machinimator itch, sit on down and crank out your dream movie.

Happy Monday! I've got lots for you today. First, my friend Joyce recently got back from volunteering at an orphanage on the Thailand/Burma border. She is trying to raise some money to help the orphanage, and she set up a website where friends can make donations.
If you are interested in helping out, you can donate from the orphanage's website, here:
You can follow Joyce's doings on her blog, here:
As promised, here is a short video of highlights from the WeGame party. You get to see me do the ogre dance!
Jeff and I got to spend some time at EA's headquarters in Redwood City last week, where they showed off their new game, Dead Space. We were very impressed with the game, and we came back with some great exclusive footage. I've completed a few of the videos, and I'll add the rest to this list when I finish them:
If you like the gameplay footage, please "digg" it for me here:
More Dead Space videos:
It has been just under two weeks since I announced WeGame's new machinima contest with $5,000 in prizes, and we already have 25 submissions! If you want to participate, you still have until the end of the month to make a movie and submit it. Be sure to read the rules before doing so:
Last week I released my new movie, We Eat Flesh, and our good Lagspike relesed his new movie, Temp Fortress 2, so be sure to check them out if you missed them.
My birthday was last week, and Adreena surprised me with a birthday video! She managed to get many people from the forums and friends who help me with my movies to make appearances, and I've got to admit, I'm touched! You can check out her birthday video here:
Hooray for fan art! Over the many weeks since we started the video review, I have recieved a lot of fan art from users. I figured I might as well show it off a little, so here is a list:
We've decided to update the WeGame blog on a more regular basis. You can check out the WeGame blog here:
We decided to try out a new format for the video review. Let us know if you like it! We actually ran out of time during the recording, which is why there are two minor edits during our gameplay discussion.
And that about does it for this week! I'm working on a new movie and I should have teaser screenshots for you next week. Though I'm not sure how many I will be able to show, because if I show the characters it will give it away... but we shall see. Anyhow, enjoy the week, and see you next Monday!

08.04.08
What a weekend! The WeGame party was fantastic. Thanks to everyone who showed up! I'll be releasing a short video of party highlights, hopefully today sometime.
I'll be releasing my finished movie Wednesday, not today, because of timing issues. StephenM a.k.a. Lagspike will be releasing his new movie tomorrow, so we'll be sure to give you guys some cool new movies to watch.
It has been less then a week since WeGame's new machinima contest began, and we have already recieved nine submissions. Everyone has been really excited about the contest, and that makes me glad! You all still have nearly a month to make a movie and submit it, and you can submit as many as you'd like. Be sure to read all the rules here on the contest Group at WeGame:
WeGame's August Machinima Contest

Ok! So, in order to reveal the tantalizing secret I dangled before you last week, I am pleased to announce:
WeGame's August Machinima Contest
Jared my boss is offering $5,000 in prizes for this contest. We have a brand new Area 51-Alienware PC and 12 other awesome prizes. The contest starts August 1st and goes to August 31st. You can use any game and yes, folks from outside the U.S. are free to enter. So check out the group at WeGame for the complete contest rules and to chat with all the contestants :)
I also finished a new movie, which I will release on Monday, August 4th. In the meantime, I am diving right into a new one, which will be longer than my last two "short SHORTS".
Additionally, WeGame is having a party! If you are in the San Francisco area on Friday August 1st, feel free to stop by the office at 6:00 PM for food, dancing, music, drinks and enough video games to give you a seizure. We'll be playing Rock Band. Yes, I will be singing. Hopefully that wont scare you off.
RSVP here:

I've got some exciting news that I can't wait to reveal, but I can't do it yet. Just be sure to watch the video review this coming Friday--I'll announce the details then.

Weekly Video Review #25

07.15.08
I have released my new movie! Here it is:
The Invisible Pink Unicorn
A man in a funny hat confronts three engineers who have mocked him for believing in the Invisible Pink Unicorn. Will the man win them over with the power of his rhetoric? Will the engineers prove how foolish he is and dismiss him? Or will the Invisible Pink Unicorn show up and startle everyone?
If you like it, please "digg" it for me by following this link and clicking "Digg It":
I wrote up a short supplemental that goes over the concepts set forth in the movie, so check it out if this sort of thing interests you.
and you can read the script here:
I've also released the WeGame.com intro slides for those who would like to use them in their own movies. You can find them here:
Here is last week's video review:
P.S.: ROFLMAO! broke 4 million! Wee!

07.14.08
I have finished my new movie! But alas, I can't release it until tomorrow. Sorry; I know how annoying that is, but that's the way it has to be.
In the meantime, I am working on a new script. I plan to make one more "short SHORT" and then work on a longer, more labor-intensive movie. I hope you all enjoy the movie I release tomorrow! It will certainly raise a few eyebrows, I'm sure.
Here is last week's video review:

07.08.08
Gah! A day late again? Blimey!
I've been hard at work on my new Short SHORT, code-named "IPU". It's not a very good code name though. Maybe I'll change it after I release it.
I don't have any teaser screenshots because I'll be releasing it probably sometime this week, or early next week, and it doesn't seem worth the trouble. Anyhow, it will be here soon.
If you'd like to read my moment-by-moment progress on the movie, you can follow me on my new Twitter page. This will grant you access to such rare outbursts like, "ARG Adobe crashed AGAIN and I lost three hours of work! ARGGG!" which I am sure you will find absolutely fascinating.
I have five new movie ideas and another completed script, so I have much in mind for the future. I have other things come up here and there at work, but rest assured that i will continue to come out with my Oxhorn Brand Movies.
I hope you all had a happy 4th! Here is last week's video review:

06.30.08
Happy Monday!
I've released a short little machinima spoof of Happy Days which you can watch here:
You can listen to and download the song here:
Since I've released it, it has been stolen by 4 other people on YouTube and even submitted by someone else to WeGame. Guess that means it is popular?
I've finished all my tutorials! I may come out with more in the future, but this should be enough for now. I want to start a new real movie here, so tutorials are done. Here are the new tutorials:
I have all the tutorials listed in the About Me section under FAQs, here.
I've been surprised at how many people have been following my new Twitter page. If you Twitter, you can follow my page here:
And I'm evidentially "on the map". A fine fellow named Red sent in this image:
And here is last week's video review:

06.23.08
*Update*
I've released five new tutorials; four machinima tutorials and one SPORE creature creator tutorial. Here they are!
As you will remember, I posted a thread on my forum a month ago or so trying to find a machinima intern to work at WeGame for the summer. StephenM, author of Thrall's Crib, won the internship, and he just released his first movie. It got not only on the front page of Digg, but was the most dugg story of all of Digg for that day! His movie has gone on to be featured on WoW Insider, Kotaku, Blue's News and many other places. Here is his movie:
And despite popular opinion, the Night Elf in the dress was actually Stephen's idea, not mine :P
I've decided to try out Twitter, for all those folsk who like to Twitter. So, if you are really that interested in what I had for breakfast and exactly what part of my new movie I am working on at any given point, you can find my Twitter page here:
And here is last week's video review. I'll have some more stuff to show off tonight!:
Gah! How did I miss an update? Oh well, I'll make up for it.
So I have seven tutorials completed in all, but I am having some technical problems with a few of them. I just released tutorial number 5, but I have not released 3 or 4 yet. I'm working on getting those done soon.
I found a cool video on WeGame of a guy who made a murloc using SPORE. Now who would be so lame as to make a WoW creature in their free time?
Hmmm. Dunno. Big mystery.
And here is a video some guy made about two World of Warcraft "warlords" running for "warchief" of Kalimdor:
Just some guy. Probably pretty attractive.
I've also been asked to provide the desktop wallpaper seen in my first two tutorials. You can get it here:
And here are the past two week's video reviews. Be sure to watch the montage and bloopers at the end of #20!:
I also added a number of new designs to the shop! There is now an Evan category with a number of different Evan facial expressions from the movie. Cafepress also added new shirts and coats and hats which work well with my Evan character, so be sure to check them, out:
I've started a series of video machinima tutorials, which people have been asking for. Here are the first two in the series:
I'll have a slew of new ones for you next week. Have a good week and I hope you like my latest movie! Here is last week's video review:
